On the 27th January 2011, ViTrox Corporation has organized a technical conference entitled 'X-Ray Inspection for Industrial Applications'. This event is co-organized by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDec) and supported by Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.
This conference was aimed to provide an overview of X-ray technology and the latest X-ray inspection technologies utilised in the PCB Assembly industry.
These technologies play an important role in inspection function as it is a non-destructive technique for creating detailed 3D computer models of the interior structure of objects. This allows accurate dimensional measurements to be made as well as the study of cracks, voids and other defects within the scanned objects.
