Recognising the diversity of cultures within our workforce, ViTrox embraces the opportunity to celebrate a variety of festivals throughout the year. These celebrations foster a sense of belonging and appreciation for the unique backgrounds that each individual brings to the table, strengthening the bonds of our team and promoting a truly inclusive work environment. Other than major festivals like Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Chinese New Year and Deepavali, below are highlights of other celebrations in 2023.
Mid-Autumn Festival
We celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival, a delightful cultural event that brought together 144 employees and 23 volunteer organisers for an evening filled with tradition and camaraderie. The event featured a range of engaging activities: a lantern parade illuminated the night, intriguing riddles sparked curiosity, and traditional costume try-ons offered a glimpse into cultural heritage. Participants also enjoyed writing wishing cards and capturing the joyous moments at a specially arranged photo booth. To complete the immersive experience, everyone savoured mooncakes and tea, the quintessential treats of the festival. This celebration was not just about enjoying festivities; it was a meaningful opportunity for our people to delve into cultural traditions and forge stronger bonds with one another, reinforcing our dedication to fostering a vibrant, connected community within our workplace.
Christmas and Winter Solstice Celebration
ViTrox's environment resonated with holiday cheer during this year's Christmas and Winter Solstice celebrations in December. The festivities featured engaging activities, including a heartwarming DIY Furry Straw Christmas Tree Workshop and a lively Christmas Busking Session, fostering creativity and camaraderie among participants. In addition, we prepared lunch sets with Western cuisine and traditional tang yuan desserts, adding a gastronomic journey to the festive experience for over 500 ViTroxians and interns.
