PENANG MALAYSIA - March 2020 - ViTrox Technologies, a leading solution provider of innovative, advanced and cost-effective automated Machine Vision inspection system and equipment for the semiconductor and electronics packaging industries, announces that the company’s V9i Advanced Robotic Vision System (ARV), received the IPC APEX EXPO 2020 Innovation Award in the Test and Inspection category on 4th February 2020 during the IPC APEX EXPO opening keynote.
The IPC Innovation Award recognizes outstanding products and services in the electronics industry. The winners of this year’s Innovation Awards were decided by a panel of industry experts rated and scored each submitted product under the selected category based on the following criteria: How is this product innovative? How is this product changing the manufacturing industry? What value will customers experience with this new product?

ViTrox’s Khoo Yak Hua Received Special Recognition Award for Contributions to IPC-2591 CFX
Meanwhile, Khoo Yak Hua, one of ViTrox Automated Board Inspection Division (ABI) R&D manager, was honoured with a Special Recognition Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions towards the development of IPC-2591, Connected Factory Exchange (CFX) Standard Version 1.1 during the IPC APEX Expo 2020 committee awards luncheon on 5th February 2020.
IPC-CFX is an electronics manufacturing industry developed standard forming the foundation/backbone of Industry 4.0 Applications. It simplifies and standardizes machine to machine communication while also facilitating machine to business/business to machine solutions.
