A.I. VVTS is an in-house developed A.I.-powered tool that automates buy-off processes in repair stations and improves process efficiency by utilising the concept of machine learning and deep learning. One of our inspection solutions that are integrated with A.I. VVTS would be our IPC-CFX-2591 Certified V510i Advanced 3D Optical Inspection (AOI) Solution. The V510i AOI is equipped with an A.I. Smart Programming feature that ensures high accuracy and consistency inspection results, and top-notch inspection quality compliance with the IPC Classes. Furthermore, the role that A.I. VVTS plays in the success of this solution through deep learning - where with the A.I. Smart Assist feature, the inspection results buy-off process can be done at a faster speed with higher precision! Our built-in A.I. VVTS will analyse the inspection results generated by the V510i AOI, and then use the compiled data analytics to further learn the inspection algorithm. Thus, it significantly reduces the A.I. false calls rate and minimises A.I. escapees. To top it all off, our V510i AOI’s A.I. VVTS has an A.I. coverage of over 80% for both common and challenging defects. Hence, this solution allows the user to automate buy-off in production with up to 50% yield improvement and significant operating cost reduction!

Another solution we would like to share with you is IPC-CFX-2591 Certified V810i Advanced 3D X-Ray Inspection (AXI) Solution. In our V810i AXI, the A.I. VVTS also includes the machine learning of inspection for other joint types and is also designed to improve inspection accuracy. The V810i AXI A.I. VVTS buy-off process works with two integral A.I. features that boost production yield through inspection process efficiency – which are the A.I. Programming and the A.I. Inspection (Classification). Firstly, our V810i AXI starts off with the A.I. Programming feature that gives users precision in inspection quality with its intelligent tuning features, thus easing programming and minimising human workload. Next, it will be followed by our A.I. Inspection solution feature that caters to challenging inspection to improve the inspection accuracy for both challenging and common pads, including pads consisting of multiple grayscale or unique profile/characteristic. Finally, our V810i AXI’s A.I. VVTS solution will automate the buy-off process in repair stations. As the user collects data and continuously monitors the intelligent performance of the solutions to retain the A.I. VVTS inspection model, the A.I. model becomes smarter and thus achieves over 90% of A.I. confident-level scoring. This allows the user to set the confident scoring for A.I. to perform auto judgement based on the A.I. inspection model.
